To me life is something like a book with a fresh, clean page for each day. I hope your pages will be filled with happy experiences and not too many smudges and mistakes. With some disappointments, sorrows and obstacles here and there because these are the things that make us grow and become stronger and wiser—depending on the way we learn from them.
If I could leave one thought with my children it would be to live each day to the fullest—Make the most of every opportunity. Be a friend to everyone, and always seek the help and guidance of our Heavenly Father.

There was a time in days of old,

The appealing portion was not in violence or crime,
But of peaceful surroundings, and life sublime.
Nor was the interest found in passionate lust,
